Holiday Giving

The holiday season can be very hard when money is tight and each day is a struggle. Watching everyone else shop for gifts and food can be painful when you can’t do the same. Trying to “keep up” during the holidays might add unwanted stress and expense to families who can’t afford either.

That is why CEO offers three important holiday programs. These are designed to make the holidays easier for families who are having an especially hard time. The goal of Holiday Giving is to spread cheer to those who need it most, so they can enjoy the important things: spending time with each other, sharing a warm and nutritious meal, and feeling the joy of the season.

Our holiday giving programs include:

Holiday Food Baskets – Giving baskets of food and fixings to families before Thanksgiving and Christmas, so they can celebrate with a warm and healthy meal.

Adopt-A-Family – Connecting families in need with local donors. Donors “adopt” pre-selected families and buy gifts especially for them. The gifts are handed out before Christmas.

Eligibility Guidelines:

Participants in the Adopt-A-Family and Holiday Basket programs must be currently enrolled in another CEO program, and identified or nominated as having a particularly strong need in the Holiday Season.
