YouthBuild Gets Haunted

YouthBuild programs attempts the first annual Haunted House and it's a scary success!

Saturday, October 30 2010 —

From witches to wolves and mummies to mad scientists, the YouthBuild participants and staff put on a bone chilling haunted house on Saturday October 30, 2010.  This was the first annual YouthBuild haunted house, and with the amazing turnout of over 200 people, it sure not to be the last.  The participants, along with the help of their construction trainer, Brian Delaney, built a mind blowing maze of twists and turns on the bottom floor of CEO’s Youth Opportunity Center in Lansingburgh.  Appearances were made by Bloody Mary, Michael Myers, Jason and Freddy Krueger, along with many other ghosts, ghouls, and zombies.  Since there are few Halloween attractions in the Troy area, the YouthBuild haunted house was a welcome weekend activity for local families.  With much positive feedback, the haunted house will undoubtedly return for many years to come.
