Programs for Teens and Young Adults

 21st Century Program

This after school program – a collaboration between the Troy School District, the YMCA and CEO – offers students at Troy’s Doyle Middle School the academic enrichment and youth development opportunities to increase their academic and social skills and promote greater success in school. The program is literacy-based and designed to help students improve their scores on the NYS English Language Arts Assessment. Participating students divide their time between literacy classes, recreation and life skills development.

Food Pantry

This is a program that provides emergency assistance to individuals and families that would otherwise go hungry. The emergency provisions provide wholesome, nourishing foods to families in need. The food pantry bridges the gap until a long-term solution can be arranged.

See Extra Helping Menu for exact ordering and pick-up dates.

WIC (Women, Infants & Children)

WIC provides healthy food, supplemental infant formula, nutrition education and referrals to income-eligible women who are pregnant, breast feeding, or within six months of childbirth. Infants and children up to five years of age are also eligible to enroll.
