    • Despite the desire to work, Kevin
was physically incapable of doing so.

After his mother’s death four short years ago, Kevin did not know where to turn. His heating and electricity costs were quickly exceeding his monthly budget, and he no longer had the support, either financial or emotional, from his mother to help him through these challenging times.

    • CEO’s Weatherization Assistance Program put money back in Kevin’s pocket.

Kevin received roof repair services from the Troy Rehabilitation and Improvement Program (TRIP). TRIP recognized Kevin was in financial trouble and referred him to CEO’s Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) for assistance. CEO’s WAP reduced Kevin’s monthly fuel costs, putting more than $350 each month back in Kevin’s hands. The Program also reduced his electric costs by 50%, saving even more money for Kevin that he can now spend contributing to his self-sufficiency, health, and wellness.

    • Once homeless, Tawana is now well on her way to the road to success.

Her time spent exploring careers with CEO has motivated and encouraged Tawana to become a lawyer, and she plans to return to school in the fall of 2012 to make this dream a reality. With support and guidance to assist with basic necessities, like budgeting and job searching skills, Tawana’s past of being homeless and struggling to get by is a distant memory, and a bright, successful future is just ahead.
